Biography
Sophia Henze is a M.Sc. student in the Thomas Lord Department of Computer Science at the University of Southern California (USC). She received her Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Colorado Boulder in 2021. After three years of technology consulting, she returned to academia to continue her studies by pursuing her Masters in Environmental Data Science. Under Dr. Moghaddam’s guidance, she is supporting synthesis science research on soil organic carbon in permafrost in the Tundra region of Alaska.
