Biography

James D. Campbell is a research staff member with the Microwave Systems, Sensors and Imaging Lab (MiXIL) of the Ming Hsieh Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, CA, USA, and a technical fellow in systems engineering with the Raytheon Company in El Segundo, CA, USA. He is an expert in global navigation satellite system reflectometry (GNSS-R), a type of bistatic radar used for remote sensing of the environment. He has over twenty-five years of experience designing, developing, and testing advanced sensor signal processing systems in the aerospace industry.
